There will be a person that someday is going to love you for who you are. You will bump into them by accident. You will recognize their familiarity, their comfort, their care. You will fall headfirst for their charm. You will see the world right through their eyes and you will suddenly wonder how you ever lived before they walked into your life.
There will be a person that someday is going to look at you with admiration, with respect. They won’t focus on your past, speckled with scars. They won’t shy away since you have been hurt by someone before, those bruises still soft and tender under your skin. They won’t be hesitant since all they will notice is the smile on your face, and the hope they read in your eyes.
This person is going to love you, simply because you are worthy. And each kiss, each touch, each word that leaves their lips is going to show you what you’ve been missing all along.
There will be a man that someday will be pleased all that you are and you have overcome. They will pay heed to each detect, every defect, each imperfection, and love you decisively. They will be pleased, lowered, supported by the way you have decided to not give the throb from your yesterday a chance to destroy your today. They will hold your hand and guarantee that will never treat you with anything not as much as regard.
Somebody, someday will love you so well that you will forget your past.
There will be a man that someday wouldn’t think you are damaged goods. They will trust that you merit genuine love and you are not very broken to get it. They will show you that you are sufficient, remind you that they really think about you and are not clearing out. They will acknowledge the patches you have on your heart, the chaos that you convey to the table and giggle appropriate alongside you since they convey a portion of a similar stuff, similarly as you.
Somebody, someday will see the brokenness in your heart and love you regardless of it.
Since we’re all a bit broken, a bit dizzy, every one of the somewhat stirred up in our past connections, sorrow, and dread. We’re all endeavoring to explore the waters of new love, attempting to abandon what’s us where it has a place, endeavoring to discover our identity without the general population who hurt us, endeavoring to let another person in.
We’re all gradually showing each other that brokenness does not characterize us, our value, or the love we can give or get.
Somebody, someday will look at you without flinching and notice your identity as a man—not the connections you’ve been in, not the lips you’ve kissed, not the choices you’ve settled on or the decisions that brought you to where you are presently—they will see your heart, hear your chuckle, feel your touch, take in your brain and love you for all that you are.
Somebody, someday won’t be afraid to love you since they know you are justified regardless of each risk, each minute, each shot they take. Furthermore, to them what makes a difference isn’t the past, yet where you are at the present time, and the spots you two will go.
